Fourth pre-alpha release for testing

Changes

  • Legacy trees, initial version. They're all impostors, look good at distance, and are blurry in close-up. Further work on legacy trees will be deferred for now, because they are not used much, if at all, in newer regions. No grasses yet.
  • Improved handling of alpha default. Obscure cases where there's no material but the alpha values are all near 0 or 1 are treated as alpha masking. This fixed some mis-rendering in New Babbage.
  • Yet another unusual case for sculpts, involving cylindrical wrapping, fixed.
  • Throttled back asset loading rate due to a problem in the Wine windows emulator which caused a 99% performance drop due to lock contention.
  • Correct version and program name info now sent to server at login.

Tested at the new "Motown" region, with over 80 avatars present. No slowdown. Of course, avatars are still being drawn as blocks.

This version supprorts log in, move, view, and local chat within a single region. Avatars are drawn as blocks.

This test release is being made available to a few volunteers for initial testing. Please do not re-distribute. Use a low-value alt account when testing.
